My urban window

the neighbor's brick wall opposes

least this, light and wind

not like some friends and their

ugly naked guy

yet so much in this frame

I keep gazing out

projections of my future

my internal thoughts

Come and go

there's also a story or two

patterns on the stucco

a maze of green moss

and unspeaking bricks

all witnesses of life lived

steaming fresh brew, a cup

water for my babies on the cill

time to get in touch with

kin or following, my self

it's a terrible soothsayer
