The now fading photographs
speak a million stories
of the kid, the first walk,
first awareness of the camera
It’s funny to see oneself, the muse
there’s an undeniable romance
in the old-fashioned, in sepia tone
wonder at mystery behind the scenes
Sadly, an in-betweener, acquainted
not long enough to value,
to handle with care, the lens,
those occasions and moments
Today lost in the sea, obsolete,
those treasures of instances,
with everyday journaling,
and instant gratification
